๐ข A very productive week has passed for Qu-PIC – Horizon Europe ๐
Last week, Qu-PIC was presented at two pivotal events, but close to two different oceans. How so?
Sonia M. Garcia Blanco from the University of Twente and Elena Jordan from Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB, took Qu-PIC to the US Pacific coast. They presented their latest results at the world’s biggest photonics gathering,
Sonia presented Aluvia Photonics‘ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ข๐ฏ as a ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฒ integrated photonic ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ: from short wavelength photonics to on-chip amplification.
Elena, on the other hand, showed PTB’s developments in ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐๐บ ๐๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ๐: from UV nanophotonics to trapped-ion architectures.
But that is not all! On this side of the Atlantic, Lantian Chang, also from Twente University, presented the Qu-PIC project at the NWO (Dutch Research Council) Physics Conference.
We are glad to have these opportunities to share Qu-PIC’s ambitions with the rest of the world.
