Last week, Irene Estébanez, leading specialist at Qu-PIC project partner VLC Photonics (Hitachi Group), presented the project’s challenges and ambitions to students of the Master’s in Quantum and Photonics at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
This fruitful interaction was the perfect way to celebrate the 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, showing the new generations how crucial their field of study is for the future of Europe and how Qu-PIC is pushing for the continent’s technological sovereignty by securing a supply chain and manufacturing capabilities in photonics integrated circuits for quantum.
