Technische Universität Berlin takes Qu-PIC – Horizon Europe to the 𝗗𝗚𝗞𝗞+𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 in 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴
The annual joint event DGKK & DEMBE emerged from the Workshop of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kristallwachstum und Kristallzüchtung (DGKK) on Epitaxy of III-V Semiconductors and the German MBE Workshop (DEMBE). This year, the event took place in Magdeburg from December 3rd to 5th, 2025, organized by the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg (OvGU).
Massimo Grigoletto from Technische Universität Berlin presented his latest results about the influence of AlN/Sapphire substrate miscut on the morphology and threshold of 265 nm AlGaN DQW lasers.
Massimo’s work represents a pivotal step forward toward one of Qu-PIC’s most ambitious goals: producing a 𝗣𝗜𝗖-𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽-𝗨𝗩 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
